Active Noise Reduction (ANR) Kits for Helmets
SPEAR Labs has been developing ANR Kits that can fit in the majority of actively used military aircrew helmets. These systems have been designed to be modular so that the user can choose the level of protection that they need. The designs also create ease of maintainance and inspection for Aircrew Flight Equipment personnel.
Active Noise Reduction (ANR) Modules for Headsets
SPEAR Labs has developed an ANR Module for use in David Clark Company, Inc H10-Series Headsets. These headsets are available through David Clark
NASA Orion Communication Cap Project
A conceptual Communications Cap (COMCAP) project was funded by NASA as part of the Constellation Space Program. SPEAR Labs built a COMCAP that demonstrated the ability to provide Active Noise Reduction as well as the option for a second layer. It used a microphone that would compensate for pressure change and oxygen spray bar noise to ensure good speech intelligibility for voice transmissions by an astronaut in a full pressure suit.

Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) BATMAN Program
SPEAR is the lead subcontractor for the Battlefield Air Targeting Man-Aided kNowledge (BATMAN) Program in which it provides the Human Systems Integration of various components for Air Force Combat Controllers developed through AFRL funding.
